It is curious that some cafés and coffee shops often carry a high risk of poor service, unpleasant encounters with bored counter servers and marginal food and coffee. Aunt Leni's is a pleasant surprise with a warm and friendly staff, reasonably priced menu items prepared with the finest and freshest ingredients,  a good selection of beer and wine, and a comfortable welcoming atmosphere.

At Aunt Leni's we have an imaginative menu of soups, salads, main courses, sandwiches, paninis, pizzas, frittatas, and desserts. Most all of our offerings are prepared in house and we take special pride in the focaccia bread baked daily and our homemade desserts. We have a kid's menu with simple and uncomplicated appeal for even the most discriminating young tastes.

In the heart of Historic Algiers Point, Aunt Leni’s Café and Market is open seven days a week. Whether you decide to eat in or call ahead for take out, we're here. We have a private room for private events or even public events from 30 to 100 guests. The eats are good enough for your friends so Aunt Leni's caters any event of any size. And the menu for your event is limited to your imagination.
